I was able to successfully install Icecat 3.6-1karmic1 onto my Karmic machine from the PPA (deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/gnuzilla-team/ppa/ubuntu karmic main).
Synaptic has noticed that update 3.6.2-0karmic1 is available, however when I
try to upgrade it, I get the following error:
icecat:
Depends: libnotify but it is not installable
I currently have the following libnotify packages installed:
* libnotify0.4-cil
* libnotify1
* libnotify-bin
