The only "'strange'" thing going on is the icecat developers
pretending they didn't massively break the upstream NSAPI plug-in
architecture. Claiming that because the only half-useful software that
uses that api is proprietary that the borkage is justified/intentional
or otherwise non-existent, is--to put it nicely--plain stupidity.
