Is this the boot crash bug again? I know gfx.direct2d.disabled was still set to false by default on the trisquel jenkins release of IceCat 38.4.0 for Windows, causing it to crash on new installations. I'm unable to test the GNU release of 38.5.0 at this time. Usual fix: Command Prompt cd \place\icecat\is\extracted\ icecat --safe-mode type about:config into address bar search for gfx.direct2d.disabled set to true -jc
