I tried to set up things to verify the problem but I
am not able to see arabic fonts.
Here is what I tried:
I have these 'arabic' fonts already installed:
/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/misc/cuarabic12.pcf.gz
/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/misc/cu-arabic12.pcf.gz
/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/misc/arabic24.pcf.gz
I installed bicon, ran xterm -lc setting
LANG=fa_IR.utf8, then ran bicon.
If you can help me with precise instructions as to set
up things to see those characters correctly, I can try
to be of some help.
