Hi, What's the syntax to enable perl regexp when building grep?
I just tried ./configure --prefix=/usr/local/grep-2.5.3 --enable-perl-regexp and that didn't work or is it enable feature perl or enable package?? Not seeing anything regarding this in the INSTALL or README . By default (SLES 9) grep has this feature(supports the -P). So, I was expecting by building with the defaults it would have been enabled.
