Hi, in doc/groff.texi line 6300+ (http://www.gnu.org/software/groff/manual/html_node/Auto_002dincrement.html#Auto_002dincrement) it is stated that \n(+id or \n[+id] would work as auto-increment. This is IMHO wrong. These lines should be removed from the documentation.
