I was tempted to close this one myself. There's nothing wrong with XFAIL or
XPASS.
As someone once almost said, "There is no need to change
string_case_xform_unicode_escape.sh. The only change needed is to change
one's knowledge about it."
I would have left it at that but I am old and mellow now and more often
supplement my zingers with
[URLs](https://ftp.gnu.org/old-gnu/Manuals/dejagnu-1.3/html_node/dejagnu_6.html).
