Update of bug #59608 (project groff): Open/Closed: Open => Closed
_______________________________________________________ Follow-up Comment #7: Since the problem this bug report was opened for has been found to be invalid, I'm closing this bug. If you feel the other two issues warrant new bug reports, you should open new ones specific to them. Concerning commenting style: before opening a new bug about it, it may be worth bringing the issue up on the groff email list. If an empty comment is widely understood by the *roff community to indicate intentional trailing space, then mom's use of this idiom is fine. Concerning diagnostic messages: useful diagnostics do not, in general, dump out all available information; too much output, where the useful data is buried in a pile of irrelevant data, is a less severe problem than not enough data, but still a problem. If you open a new bug report about this, please include in it examples of actual errors in a mom document where the error messages do not contain enough information to debug the problem, but outputting the rest of the parameters would. _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <https://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?59608> _______________________________________________ Message sent via Savannah https://savannah.gnu.org/
