thread) seems to have converged on the idea that the original (pre-866bc203
<http://git.savannah.gnu.org/cgit/groff.git/commit/?id=866bc203>) .ss example
has aspects that are worth retaining. This could be done by restoring the
original example, restoring a modified version of the original, or retooling
the new example.
