Follow-up Comment #4, bug #64439 (project groff): Adding one more iteration of the .chop/output sequence gives a result that's _really_ inexplicable (to me, though maybe it'll actually be revealing to someone more familiar with the parser). I get the same output in 1.22.4 and 1.23.
