Follow-up Comment #22, bug #64421 (project groff): I rebuilt the Arch Linux groff package at version 1.23.0-3 from source and that resolved the issue. - The "black" label does not show up with that compiled version.
The precompiled package for the exact same package version still has the bug though. Steps to reproduce: * Check out https://gitlab.archlinux.org/archlinux/packaging/packages/groff * git reset --hard 025a63b7e55a24c0a1892045819eef79fdc67873 * makepkg The compiler flags in my /etc/makepkg.conf are: ######################################################################### # ARCHITECTURE, COMPILE FLAGS ######################################################################### # CARCH="x86_64" CHOST="x86_64-pc-linux-gnu" #-- Compiler and Linker Flags #CPPFLAGS="" CFLAGS="-march=x86-64 -mtune=generic -O2 -pipe -fno-plt -fexceptions \ -Wp,-D_FORTIFY_SOURCE=2 -Wformat -Werror=format-security \ -fstack-clash-protection -fcf-protection" CXXFLAGS="$CFLAGS -Wp,-D_GLIBCXX_ASSERTIONS" LDFLAGS="-Wl,-O1,--sort-common,--as-needed,-z,relro,-z,now" LTOFLAGS="-flto=auto" #RUSTFLAGS="-C opt-level=2" #-- Make Flags: change this for DistCC/SMP systems #MAKEFLAGS="-j2" #-- Debugging flags DEBUG_CFLAGS="-g" DEBUG_CXXFLAGS="$DEBUG_CFLAGS" #DEBUG_RUSTFLAGS="-C debuginfo=2" _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <https://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?64421> _______________________________________________ Message sent via Savannah https://savannah.gnu.org/
