You've refreshed my memory. There *might* not be a problem here. I happen to have the following files lying around. According to their time stamps, I grabbed them over 2 years ago. Adobe-Core35_AFMs-229.tar.gz Adobe-Core35_AFMs-314.tar.gz If I'm not mistaken, these generate the font description files in font/devps and font/devps/old. The proof of the pudding is of course in the afmtoditting.
