How different is that from the following?
$ ./build/test-groff -ww
.nr linelen 65n
.tm linelen=\n[linelen]u
linelen=325000u
.ll \n[linelen]
.tm .l=\n[.l]u
troff:<standard input>:3: warning: integer value saturated
.l=2147483647u
This seems like a long-known "be careful with that axe, Eugene" property of
_roff_ requests and escape sequences.
