Follow-up Comment #3, bug #66174 (group groff): Oh, I should have mentioned that on top of quotation marks performing no type conversion, they are removed by the macro call process. The `Bl` macro *never sees* the quotation marks supplied at the call site. Quotation marks are for getting spaces into a macro argument. "1234567890123" had none in the first place.
