Me too, hence my wording in comment #12 suggesting "generalizing" the list
from the former to the latter.

I don't think everything on this list is being considered for 1.25, so I'd
change that to say "a future groff release," but otherwise this makes sense.
Actually, I'll just go ahead and do that now.

Agreed; I figured once this list existed in the source tree, that would
replace this ticket as the repository for these proposals.
