I'm glad it is working for you now.

I downloaded the TinosNerd fonts and installed the proportional versions
with:-

./ttffontinstall.pl -m /usr/share/groff/1.23.0/font/devpdf/map/text.map
~/Downloads/Tinos/TinosNerdFontPropo-* -f TNP

Which produced the groff fonts TNPR, TNPB, TNPI and TNPBI. Using the fonts
with:-

printf ".fam TNP\n\s'36p'\[uF310]"|test-groff -Tpdf -ms | okular -

Produced a surprise!

If you have a look at TNPR.pdf in the catalogue directory you will see many
glyphs in the "Private Use Area" and "Supplementary Private Use Area",
probably why it has "Nerd" in the name. If a catalogue pdf has thousands of
glyphs I have found "xpdf" is the best viewer to use, others can be rather
sluggish.
