A lot of back and forth happened in bug #67711, and in the email thread cited
in comment 16 there, because a core consequence of applying flags to a
character class is undocumented: that it effectively logically ORs the flags
of the class with the flags of the individual characters in the class. The
.pchar request now reports this, thanks to the resolution of #67711, but the
manual should also say so.
