It sure does.  After going to the trouble of instrumenting the package
on my tablet last night before bet, I eventually rediscovered this fact.
Then got angry, thinking "this should be documented!"...and of course it
already was.

Yup.  I eventually got the output I desired from my toy document by
doing that exact thing.

I dislike this incosistent default for `Le`.  I choose to interpret it
as some commandment handed down by a suit at AT&T in the 1980s, I would
prefer to align the `Le` register's default with `Lf`, `Lt`, and `Lx`.
