The proposed material can follow the "Basics" section. Maybe call it "Getting
More Advanced" or similar.
Equip the reader to define their own strings and registers.
Reintroduce (since it appeared in the "Invoking groff" chapter) command-line
options as a vehicle for defining these. (However, you can't assign a
register format from the command line. That is a gap in our orthogonality,
and would not be hard to do...)
Migrate some material from _groff_mm_(7) hence.
Observe that some macro packages want to be configured via strings and
registers, and others don't. Some _require_ that some of these parameters be
configured via the command line and others don't.
