I notice grub after I first use Mandrake 7.1. I think grub have a user
friendly menu. But the offical grub distrubtion don't include "splash screen" option
that
I needed. I found debian has a patch that support it. It use a special format
graphical
file that could be showed when booting the linux. I read the patched grub source file.
It is a gziped file that be appened some extra data. Is there a tool that could
generate that file easily?
