It is usually assumed that you know the procedure for getting *any*
bootloader off a system.  Just install a different one.

You can install the DOS bootloader into your MBR:
 FDISK /MBR
and then use, say, the GNU/Linux fdisk to toggle the active flag of
the partition you want to boot from.

You can also install LILO into the MBR or the first sector of a
partition.  Read the LILO documentation for how to do that.

If your hard disk has problems, you'll have to boot from a floppy (or
mount your hard disk in another machine) in order to continue.
