Hello,

I experience problems with GRUB on "old" machines with a SCSI drive on an
Adaptec AIC7XX controler.

Every command involving seeking the drive for informations causes the PC to
reboot (`find', completion, kernel etc... : every attempt to access the
drive). The version of GRUB is the last one.

As anyone some clue ? I imagine that the BIOS instructions downloaded from
the controller are putting interrupts to replace the classical BIOS ones,
and there might be problem. But this is just an assumption.

Has anyone ever had the very same kind of problem ? Any clue ?

TIA
