Hi,

Is it possible to use GRUB to boot a Standard PC (El Torito) bootable CDROM?

I find myself needing boot floppies for every bootable CDROM I have to allow booting
the CDROM

on systems without BIOS CDROM-boot support. I'm trying to find a way to have one
floppy that can

boot any El Torito CDROM for these systems. Is this possible? (I'm beginning to
doubt it)

I know I can create an El Torito image with GRUB to make my own bootable CDROM--this

is not what I need. I'd like one floppy that can boot BBC/Mandrake/Debian/Redhat/etc
CDROMs

so I don't have to create a separate boot floppy for each distro version I'd like to
boot on

a system without BIOS CDROM-boot support.

I checked the FAQ and the recent bug-grub archives to no avail.

Cheers,

John McCarthy.
