Hello from Gregg C Levine normally with Jedi Knight Computers
I have a computer here, which is using GRUB version 0.9.0 to startup. It
is the Slackware 7.1.0 distribution, with the 2.2.19 kernel. I need to
build a 2.4.2 kernel for work related exercises. Can GRUB's menu.lst be
configured to launch, say the 2.2.19 version, suitably labeled as that
version, or the 2.4.2 one? Also suitably labeled as from that release.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Also I can post a copy of
the current menu.lst file. If anyone wants me to, please write back,
off-list, and the URL where it would be placed will be provided.
