Hello,

I have written a NetBSD package for Grub. You may find it at:

gopher://quux.org/9/devel/netbsd/packages/netbsd-grub-0.90.tar.gz

Included in this tarball is patch-aa which modifies install-grub.in.
This patch does several things:

1. It uses /grub instead of /boot/grub. On NetBSD, /boot is
a *file* that holds the bootloader.

2. It adds netbsd* code to the convert() function to deal with
   NetBSD disks.

Patch #2 should be integrateable right away. Patch #1 will, of
course, change behavior on other platforms too. Ideally we'd have a
configure switch for default bootloader directory or some such.

I have grub successfully installed from NetBSD and booting NetBSD via
chain. It would be nice to see it boot netbsd with the abillity to
pass along kernel parameters too.

PS.. I'm not subscribed to this list; please CC me replies.

Thanks,
John Goerzen
