Hi,
I meet a trouble.My Machine has a Abit BE6II mainboard and Matox
Desktop Plus 40 harddisk (30G,c/h/s=59554/16/63 or 3736/255/63(LBA)).I
connect the disk to mainboard hpt366(/dev/hde),but I can't boot from it
into linux.I used lilo or grub get the same result.the reason is that
disk's geometry is incorrect(display is 1024/16/63,2114MB).I used kernel
option "hde=noprobe hde=3736/255/63",can't boot.Pls help me!!
