Summary:  Poor TFTP performance when using serial console

Original Submission:  Have noticed that the TFTP performance is significantly slower 
when using a serial console than when using a VGA console.

Working perfect!

No noticeable TFTP performance between serial and VGA any more. Now loads a 10MB 
initrd in just a few seconds compared to a minute or more before the fix..
