Hello, I have a system where Lilo boots Debian GNU/Linux just fine but I can't get it to boot via Grub.
The geometry is different when booting from a floppy compared to running grub from a command line using GNU/Linux. What the Linux kernel sees at boot and what I see using geometry (hd0) is 13446/15/63. I even set the BIOS to these settings instead of auto detecting. Unfortunately, when booting with grub from floppy and running geometry (hd0) I see 839/240/63. When I give the geometry command (just like it says in the documentation) to manually set it with the correct parameters it doesn't seem to take effect.
