Are you using the patch on http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?func=detailitem&item_id=6690 ? The patch is based on Etherboot-5.3.4, which is known to work well on some VIA NICs but hang on new ones :(

Hi, I have an Epia mini-itx motherboard with an onboard VIA VT6102 Rhine II 10/100 network interface. This interface can boot through PXE, so I've been trying to get pxegrub working with the following configure options: ./configure --enable-via-rhine --enable-diskless pxegrub is loaded on the epia system, but it complains: Probing...[VIA 86C100]No ethernet card found. Judging from netboot/via-rhine.c, it looks like the VIA 86C100 is the only supported controller chip (this is grub-0.94). Is there any change the VT6102 will be supported in the future? regards, Ruben de Groot _______________________________________________ Bug-grub mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://mail.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/bug-grub _______________________________________________ Bug-grub mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://mail.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/bug-grub
