AFAIK it is currently not possible to chainload to a CDROM, Grub does not (yet ?) understand ISO9660. It might be possible with Leonid Liskovsky's patch. See http://mail.gnu.org/archive/html/bug-grub/2003-04/msg00014.html and http://mail.gnu.org/archive/html/bug-grub/2003-01/msg00130.html but I am not sure, since I did not have time to try it out and this patch is currently only available for 0.93.
