Dear Grub experts,
I'm a bit hopeless about the following, having searched mail-archives, google, man &
info pages, /usr/share/docs/ etc.
I have a primary master harddisk with GRUB on it and I tested it in two computers
First computer: Pentium 166 - 48 MB etc.

GRUB loading, please wait...
Error 17

Second computer: Modern AMD Duron 1600 - 384 MB etc.
<Result>
Graphical menu popups immediately - seems to work

What's the Error 17 thing doing in my old pc (lilo worked) where it does not appear in
my more decent machine?
For the time being i'll have to do with lilo :-(
Any suggestions welcome (GRUB2 ?) (money for another machine :-)
