/**************************************************************************/ [bugs #11226] Full Item Snapshot: URL: <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?func=detailitem&item_id=11226> Project: GNU GRUB Submitted by: 0 On: Mon 12/06/2004 at 05:45 Category: Booting Severity: Major Priority: 5 - Normal Item Group: Software Error Resolution: None Privacy: Public Assigned to: None Originator Name: Ken Corbin Originator Email: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Status: Open Release: 0.95 Reproducibility: Every Time Planned Release: Summary: GRUB cannot read a perfectly good Reiser FS partition Original Submission: Second disk has two partitions, second of which is a SUSE 9.2 Resiser FS partition. Partition can be mounted from the rescue system, And it passes fsck with flying colors. But everytime GRUB tries to do anything with it fails with an "Error 25: Disk read error" message. This happens with one particular drive on one particular system. GRUB hasn't had any problems reading Reiser FS's on another system. Including a second drive on that system. Original problem was with the version of GRUB distributed with SuSe 9.2, since then I've compiled the CVS version and had the same problem.
