Hello from Gregg C Levine Not that I know of. However have you asked this question on a Debian sponsored list? The clew is that your release of GRUB is in fact one which might have been modified by the packager for the Debian package of GRUB. And I'm sure one of the regular developers will contribute an answer which makes sense.
