Check the patch: http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/download.php?file_id=2508 I have also a better patch for this (I believe) in my own patched grub (you can dig into source code of Super Grub Disk (dev_grub folder) http://adrian15.raulete.net/grub/ for it. I will try to make a patch for 0.97 version and send it here...
