Added a pci ide/raid card added 3rd HD works fine. Until I tried a live Cd/DVD Grub boots before CD. went to Bios changed boot order no luck still grub loads before CD can.Back to Bios took Hard drives out of boot sequence stil grub boots. Press F4 ask which drive to boot from select DVD drive still Grub boots. My only work around is to remove pci ide/raid card, Cd boots first every time. Is there any way I can add a selection to my menu list to be able to choose to boot from CD/DVD a command that will boot live CD/DVD and distro CD/DVD for up grade or fresh install? My start up sequince is Hd's and DVD's reconized raid card reconized asked to set up raid(never set up raid used as an ide drive)but from set up I can choose which drive to boot from still no luck. Then grub start and my menu appears. Thank you Ken Ellis _______________________________________________________ Carbon-Copy List: CC Address | Comment ------------------------------------+----------------------------- [EMAIL PROTECTED] | _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?func=detailitem&item_id=16812> _______________________________________________ Message sent via/by Savannah http://savannah.gnu.org/ _______________________________________________ Bug-grub mailing list Bug-grub@gnu.org http://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/bug-grub
