I have an AMD xp2000 computer with 2 hd and 2 DVD. I boot 2 windows 5
linux and 1 freebsd with Gnu Grub 0.97 all works good until I installed
ide/raid card and a third hd every thing works normal except I can not
boot from my DVD drives any more. I even went to bios and removed the
hard drives from boot sequence, still grub comes up with my menu list.
If I remove my ide/raid card from the motherboard every thing works as
it should I can boot from live cds and up grade my distos.
Is there any way I can add a boot from CD into my menu list.
I was told "root (cd)"
"chainloader +1"
should work this does not work any help will be appreciated
Thank you
