I won't be needing another because I finally got around to figuring out how to compile the GRUB myself. The revised builtins.c is attached with the new code for partnewbeta. This one includes BOTH bug patches that I had requested. It has been thoroughly tested and validated OK to my own satisfaction. It also includes epteditalpha which has a runtime error: "Error 23: Error while parsing number.". Debugging now. Please excuse my delay in compiling that code for myself. I have been in the Windows and Mainframe worlds for many years. I never used Linux until about a week ago. I have Debian installed now, but it has many problems due to errors reading the CD's during the installation. sburtchin http://www.nabble.com/file/6524/builtins.c.beta.txt builtins.c.beta.txt -- View this message in context: http://www.nabble.com/%22partnew%22-Command-Writes-Wrong-Ending-Cylinder-in-MPT-tf2599372.html#a8998681 Sent from the Grub - Bugs mailing list archive at Nabble.com. _______________________________________________ Bug-grub mailing list Bug-grub@gnu.org http://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/bug-grub
