Hello, I am preparing a new linux system using GRUB2 for this aircraft:
http://www.dlr.de/en/desktopdefault.aspx/tabid-1/86_read-18278/ I have some problems when trying to booting the linux system from a USB memory stick. Here is a trace of what I do and observe: ------------------------------- Welcome to GRUB! Entering into rescue mode... grub rescue> ls (hd0) (hd0,1) (hd0,2) (hd0,3) grub rescue> set prefix=(hd0,1)/boot/grub root=hd0,1 grub rescue> ls (hd0,1)/ ./ ../ lost+found/ boot/ sources/ /scripts/ /tools/ /dev proc/ sys/ bin/ etc/ home/ lib/ mnt/ opt/ media/ sbin/ srv/ var/ root/ tmp/ usr/ antarix/ README log/ grub resuce> cat (hd0,1)/README Welcome to the antarix (B)LFS-6.3.3 linux-2.6.28.7 system! grub rescue> ls (hd0,1)/etc error: out of disk ------------------------- As you can see everything looks OK until I start accessing directories. The file system is ext3, but this should not be a problem (I am using GRUB2 without any problems on a IDE disk). I would be grateful if you could give me a hint to help me solve this problem.
