Summary: grub-mkconfig.in do not support any menu color entry Project: GNU GRUB Submitted by: mariovazq Submitted on: Thu 18 Mar 2010 05:49:01 PM GMT Category: User Interface Severity: Major Priority: 5 - Normal Item Group: Feature Request Status: None Privacy: Public Assigned to: None Originator Name: Mario Vazquez Originator Email: mariov...@gmail.com Open/Closed: Open Discussion Lock: Any Release: Release: 1.98 Reproducibility: Every Time Planned Release: None _______________________________________________________ Details: While there is some theme support in grub-mkconfig.in and 00_header.in, there is no support for adding or configuring simple menu color entries which are used in text mode grub. Currently Linux distributions that do not use themeing have to implement a 05_theme entry like Debian and Arch Linux, due to the lack of support in the main scripts. The patch I submitted adds that support. _______________________________________________________ File Attachments: ------------------------------------------------------- Date: Thu 18 Mar 2010 05:49:01 PM GMT Name: menucolors-in-mkconfig.patch Size: 1kB By: mariovazq <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/download.php?file_id=19976> _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?29258> _______________________________________________ Message sent via/by Savannah http://savannah.gnu.org/ _______________________________________________ Bug-grub mailing list Bug-grub@gnu.org http://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/bug-grub
