Follow-up Comment #4, bug #31548 (project grub):
Which grub-install command did you use? Since GRUB2 has no visible error
numbers "Error 2" means that you haven't installed GRUB2 properly
(grub-install /dev/sda). Use grub-install directly if you report bugs here. We
don't handle possible problem with dpkg incorrectly running grub-install on
wrong device or not at all
