Follow-up Comment #2, bug #45002 (project grub):
It is a BIOS platform. I will try to fry up the latest version and see if it
does it. Currently, it's a fresh Ubuntu 14.04.02 LTS with grub version
2.02-beta2-9ubuntu1.
