That's why i said "Oh". Not having to patch would remove the need for random access to the output file. It works with xorriso-1.3.2. (But not with 1.2.2 from Debian oldstable, because not knowing --grub2-mbr and --grub2-boot-info, and because -append_partition was not properly coordinated with --protective-msdos-label.)
