Follow-up Comment #10, bug #50245 (project grub):
I cannot reproduce it - version with patch boots correctly here. Please try
with clean build out of GIT + patch and make sure to recreate netboot
directory using just built grub:
pkgdatadir=$PWD ./grub-mknetdir --net-directory ... -d grub-core
