Like you can see in the attached file grub.pdf
GRUB 2.02 don't translate the line with recovery mode.
On /dev/sda7
# lsb_release -d
Description: Debian GNU/Linux testing (buster)
# grub-install -V
grub-install (GRUB) 2.02+dfsg1-6
On /dev/sda6
# lsb_release -d
Description: Debian GNU/Linux testing (wheezy)
grub-install -v
grub-install (GRUB) 1.99-21
I have this line :
set lang=fr_FR
on each grub.cfg
