Follow-up Comment #4, bug #65072 (group grub): Was a solution or workaround for this ever found?
Using grub-2.12-for-windows I ran grub-install.exe to install an x86_64-efi
image, and the resulting image aborts immediately with this error message
about `_stack_chk_guard`.
I also tried generating a new image via grub-mkimage.exe and installing it
manually, but this had the same result.
grub-2.06-for-windows works without issue.
