Dear Friends and Colleagues: It is possible that you recently received a spam email originating from this email address. To my dismay, my personal Gmail account was hacked at 9:15 am yesterday morning and sent spam to at least 30 people on my contact list, before I was able to change my password. I sincerely apologize for this inconvenience and confusion.
To those who have contacted me about this, thank you for letting me know that you received one of these emails. I have taken the necessary steps to fix the problem, but if you receive any more spam from my address, please let me know as soon as you can. I have contacted Google about this issue, and I hope that the information I have provided them will be helpful in preventing such attacks on other Gmail account holders in the future.
