There is nothing beyond the introductory paragraph in Section 22.9 of the
manual online:
http://www.gnu.org/software/gsl/manual/html_node/Resampling-from-histograms.html#Resampling-from-histograms
I expect that there would be documentation for the gsl_histogram_pdf
definitions like there are in Section 22.21 for the gsl_histogram2d_pdf
definitions.
