If you're using the ATLAS library, you need both -latlas and -lcblas
together. If you are using the GSL cblas, you only need -lgslcblas

I was looking through this documentation, and couldn't test it, but it
seems like the following command
$ gcc example.o -lgsl -lcblas -latlas -lm
shouldn't have -lcblas. I could be wrong, though.
