Here's what it says at http://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/gnans.README

A program and language for the numerical study of deterministic and
stochastic dynamical systems, which may evolve in continuous or
discrete time. It loads the definition of a dynamical system in an
equation oriented language, translates this into C++, compiles and
links this, and solves the equations numerically with the speed of a
compiled (rather than interpreted) program. It has a GUI that allows
the program to be controlled and the parameters changed easily.

Available at ftp.uu.net/pub/math/gnans/. As of 2002-04-25, binaries
for Irix, Solaris, and GNU/Linux were available at that
location.ftp.mathematik.uni-bremen.de, supposedly the source of this
mirror,
doesn't seem to exist and ftp.math.uni-bremen.de doesn't have it.

It is not at those addresses. But have no fear, I have tracked it down:
 http://www.bengt-martensson.de/software/gnans/gnans-1.6.2.tar.gz
This is the site of the original author. So somehow it should be pushed (or
pulled)
into ftp.gnu.org , someone should contact Bengt Martensson and figure out
how to proceed.

I doesn't build cleanly but the bugs are minor, I almost have them fixed,
might take a few hours,
but I didn't want to delay this announcement, for those have been waiting
since 2002 to get this.
