The ‘core-updates’ branch is active again, in preparation of the forthcoming 0.3 release. It’s being built at <http://hydra.gnu.org/jobset/gnu/core-updates>.
I’ve done proper integration of the cross-build extensions into ‘gnu-build-system.scm’ (the special ‘%standard-cross-phases’ is gone, for instance.) I may have to make a few additional changes to support cross-compilation of the bootstrap binaries. Another obvious use of the branch is to update core packages (GCC, libc, etc.) I think we’ll stay at GCC 4.7.3 as the compiler used to build other packages for this time.
